Carmel board approves routine contracts, park agreement and multiple planning items

"After 5 years, we'll send it back up, have a new chassis put underneath of it, reuse the back half of it," Wellington said, explaining the remount process and expected cost savings compared with earlier higher bids. The board approved the purchase and amendment; staff acknowledged the final cost could change modestly after vendor inspection and any needed adapters are identified.
