Auditors report positive financial standing; council recognizes finance staff

The Rockledge City Council on March 18 received an audit presentation from Carr, Riggs & Ingram that described the city’s financial status as positive.
Christine Noll-Rhan, partner with Carr, Riggs & Ingram, presented the auditors’ report and summarized the firm’s findings on the city’s financial statements and status. City Manager Dr. Brenda Fettrow and council members praised the Finance Division for its work. Deputy Mayor Frank T. Forester read a proclamation recognizing March 16–20 as Florida Government Finance Professionals Week; the proclamation was accepted by Assistant City Manager & Finance Director Matthew Trine and Assistant Finance Director Christine Hilty.
Councilwoman Sammie Brown Martin moved to be in receipt of the audit and the motion passed without objection. The council also voted unanimously to receive the Financial/Budget Report for February 2026.
