The board also voted to table a fiscal‑year‑26 extension service agreement with Montana State University until staff can provide more information, including whether a $39,000 payment to MSU would be prorated.
Chair (transcript label S2) opened the meeting at 10:00 a.m. and noted that "all 3 commissioners are present." After asking for off‑agenda public comment and hearing none, the board moved through the consent agenda and approved claims; a motion was made, seconded and the Chair called for a vote that carried.
On a separate motion the board declared a 2003 Tar Heel cargo trailer surplus property so it can be advertised for sale. The Chair said the trailer is "just sitting there deteriorating" and noted it is at the lead shop and may have been purchased with grant funds; declaring it surplus will allow the county to try to recover some value through sale.

The committee member said, "In the May, I just wanna make sure that 39,000 that that goes to MSU that that's prorated," and asked for confirmation about how that $39,000 would be applied. The board seconded the motion to table and voted to postpone action until staff can provide the requested information.
With no other business, the Chair adjourned the meeting. The MSU extension agreement remains tabled pending the requested clarification; the board did not set a firm date for when it will return to the agenda.
