Fulton County commissioners approve festival lease, engineering contract and purchases; table Pressley Ridge agreement

The Fulton County Board of Commissioners on Feb. 17, 2026, approved a series of contracts, purchases and a festival lease and tabled one vendor contract pending more information.
Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to approve and execute a McConnell Park lease submitted by the Fulton County Chamber of Commerce and Tourism for the Strawberry Festival scheduled June 11-13, 2026; the motion carried unanimously. The board also approved a contract with CES Engineering, LLC for engineering services at the Warfordsburg Senior Center CDBG project not to exceed $15,000.00.
Commissioner Randy H. Bunch moved to retroactively approve Chief Clerk Stacey M. Shives to sign a CDBG Exempt Status Determination and Mitigation Measures and Conditions Form; the motion passed unanimously. Domestic Relations Director Tina Gress requested the purchase of new office furniture from W.B. Mason to be funded by the Title IV-D Incentive Account; Commissioner Hann moved to approve the $6,467.15 purchase, and the board approved the motion.
Commissioner Steven L. Wible moved to approve and execute an invoice from Wessel & Company for CFO services for January 2026 in the amount of $4,340.00; the motion passed unanimously. Separately, Commissioner Wible moved to table a contract between Pressley Ridge and Fulton County for services for children until more information is gathered; that motion also passed unanimously.
All recorded motions in the minutes are listed as passed 'All in favor.' The meeting adjourned at 11:22 a.m.
