At its March 23 meeting the Oneida County ADRC Committee approved a Sustainable Transportation Resolution intended to signal support for continued and potentially enhanced state funding for sustainable transportation programs. Ms. Mya Olkowski introduced the request and asked committee members to sign the resolution so it could be forwarded to the County Board.
The motion to approve the resolution "as presented" was made by Ms. Linnaea Newman and seconded by Mr. Russ Fisher; members voted "all ayes; motion carried." According to the minutes, no additional committee follow-up was required after the signatures were collected; the signed resolution will be sent on to the County Board for consideration.
Committee members did not discuss ordinance language or attach amendments during the meeting; the action recorded in the minutes is procedural approval and forwarding of the signed resolution to the County Board.
