Patriotic Holiday Committee endorses Hero Act for Town Meeting warrant

During its Feb. 18 meeting the Patriotic Holiday Committee moved and unanimously approved a resolution supporting placement of the Hero Act article on the Annual Town Meeting warrant.
Joe Piantedosi noted the Hero Act article will be part of the warrant; Peter Ricci moved the committee endorsement and Armen Zildjian seconded the motion. Committee members voted in favor without objection. The minutes record that the Select Board will consider the Town Warrant on Monday, Feb. 23.
The committee did not provide text of the Hero Act article during the meeting; the minutes record only that the committee supports the article appearing on the warrant. The Select Board and Town Meeting will make any final determinations on warrant placement and adoption.
