Commissioners sign construction management and DOT agreements for Spring Creek and Turkey Creek projects

The board also approved Supplemental and Modification Agreement No. 1 with the Oklahoma Department of Transportation for Project No. STP‑224F(111)PART3CI, State Job No. 29874(04)(05)(06)(07) on Spring Creek with an estimated CIRB cost of $154,354.00 and for Project No. STP‑224F(111)PART2CI, State Job No. 33049(04)(05)(06)(07) on Turkey Creek with an estimated CIRB cost of $328,038.00.
Separately, the board authorized the chairman to sign a Shuterra Roadside Right‑Of‑Way Integrated Vegetation Management Agreement for District #2, with an initial term from Dec. 23, 2024 through Dec. 22, 2025 and quarterly payments of $11,156.25. All motions passed with Aye votes recorded for Wedel, Maly and Kegin.
Why it matters: the agreements secure construction management support and state cooperation for roadway maintenance and improvements in Garfield County, and establish a year‑long roadside vegetation management contract for District #2 that will affect roadside operations and maintenance budgeting.
