The Select Board voted on Feb. 9 to submit a revised project eligibility letter for a 40B application at 82 Carlisle Road that reflects a reduced unit count of 84 following a Housing Appeals Committee-mediated agreement.
Brian DeVellis of DeVellis Group LLC and Town Manager Matt Hanson told the board that the original submission referenced 120 units but that, after a Zoning Board of Appeals denial and subsequent appeal to the state Housing Appeals Committee, the parties reached a mediated agreement to reduce the proposal to 84 units. The mediated decision was filed at the Registry of Deeds on Sept. 24, 2025, and the Executive Office of Housing and Livable Communities requested an updated eligibility letter to reflect the amended unit count.
Mr. Hanegan moved and Mr. Parker seconded that the Select Board submit the revised comment letter for the project described in the Housing Appeals Committee decision; the motion passed 3-0-0.
