The Ringgold County Board of Supervisors approved the FY27 proposed property tax levy as published and set the FY27 proposed budget hearing for Monday, April 6, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. in the Assembly Room at the Ringgold County Courthouse.
The board recessed at 10:00 a.m. for the FY27 property tax levy hearing and reconvened regular session at 10:30 a.m. After reconvening, the board moved to approve the proposed FY27 property tax levy as advertised (Resolution RC26-47) and to set and publish the budget hearing for April 6 at 10:00 a.m. (Resolution RC26-48). Both resolutions passed by unanimous vote.
Treasurer Debra Cannon presented the February month-end report for her office; the board approved the report and passed Resolution RC26-49 accepting the report as presented. The minutes record the motions and attestations by the county auditor. With no further business, the board approved the minutes and adjourned the session.
