At its March 17 meeting the Pocahontas County Board of Supervisors approved routine administrative business, acknowledged a resignation from the public-health board and approved a manure management plan.
On motions that passed unanimously the board approved the March 10 minutes and the posted agenda, accepted the recorder’s monthly report of fees collected, and acknowledged that the auditor’s office will be closed April 1 for SEAT continuing-education training. The meeting record does not list dollar totals from the recorder’s report.
The board acknowledged and accepted the resignation of Connie Schachtner from the county public health board and expressed thanks for her years of service. The board also approved a manure management plan for Rittgers Home Place (ID# 58467), listing David Rittgers as owner and contact; the location in the record is NW NW, Section 7, Des Moines Township.
