Governing Board President Yolanda Moore called the special meeting of the Clovis Unified Governing Board to order at 5:32 p.m. on Nov. 5, 2025, at the Professional Development Building in Clovis.
During roll call the board recorded five members present: President Yolanda Moore; Vice-President Steven Fogg, M.D.; Clerk Hugh Awtrey; and Members Tiffany Stoker Madsen and Wilma Tom Hashimoto. Board Members Deena Combs-Flores and Clinton Olivier were absent.
The board adopted the November 5, 2025, special meeting agenda as submitted. The motion to adopt was moved by Board Member Tiffany Stoker Madsen and seconded by Board Member Wilma Tom Hashimoto. The minutes record the motion as passed 5-0 with Awtrey, Fogg, Moore, Stoker Madsen and Tom Hashimoto voting aye and Combs-Flores and Olivier absent.
Later in the evening the board adjourned the public session and convened in closed session at 8:08 p.m. to consider two listed items: a public employee performance evaluation for the title “Superintendent” (Government Code §54957(b)(1)) and a conference with legal counsel regarding anticipated litigation (significant exposure to litigation) pursuant to subdivision (d)(2) of Government Code §54956.9 (one case). The minutes do not record any actions taken in closed session in the public portion of the minutes.
President Moore adjourned the special meeting at 9:25 p.m.
