Oneida County board approves rezonings in Woodruff to allow golf-cart storage

Both petitions were reported as having been filed in 2025, the subject of public hearings (June 25 and Sept. 3, 2025), and approved by the Town of Woodruff. Committee records show one supportive speaker at each hearing and no written opposition. The committee concluded the petitions met the county zoning standards and recommended passage.
Both rezones were placed on the board’s consent agenda and approved as part of that package by roll call (18 Aye; 3 Absent). The ordinances take effect the day after passage and publication as required by law.
Why it matters: The changes convert residential parcels to a business classification that permits storage uses; property owners and the Town of Woodruff had signaled support during earlier review. The approvals permit the applicants to move forward with plans for storage-unit facilities that were described in the petitions as intended for golf-cart storage.
