Idaho House hears member announcements, sets committee meetings and adjourns to Jan. 28

Members offered several floor announcements welcoming visiting groups to the Capitol, including students from the Idaho State University School of Nursing, nurse practitioners from across Idaho, and students participating in the Capstone Student Legislature program.
Committee chairs announced a schedule of committee meetings: Judiciary Rules and Administration and Resources and Conservation were set for Jan. 27 at 1:30 p.m. (Rooms EW42 and EW40, respectively). For Jan. 28, the Education Committee was set for 9:00 a.m. (EW41), Health and Welfare for 9:00 a.m. (EW20), Revenue and Taxation for 10:00 a.m. (EW42), and State Affairs for 9:00 a.m. (EW40).
A motion to adjourn until 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2026, was moved and seconded and passed on voice vote. The presiding officer closed the session.
