Chair Kisha Jahner said the city is pursuing the next phase of development on the VA campus and recommended updating Amendment #2 to the Amended and Restated 28E Agreement prior to any conveyance. There were no public comments at the hearing, which the board closed immediately.
Jahner said she hoped the county would have an updated Amendment ready for the board’s March 24, 2026 meeting, at which time the board could consider a resolution (Resolution 2026-38) to dispose of Parcel K. No formal disposition resolution was acted on March 10.
The action on Parcel K remains procedural for now: the board recorded the hearing, noted the absence of public input, and directed staff to return with the revised 28E amendment before any final conveyance. The board’s standard roll-call rule for the meeting noted unanimous approval on motions where action was taken (Ayes: McCombs, Jahner, Mueller).
