The commission approved final PUD plans for Deerfield Commons, a proposed multifamily development on about 17.15 acres presented by Greg Lorig of DBG on behalf of Kendall Property Group. The petitioner said the project had been revised from an initial 210 units down to 186 units for final review.
Lorig said the team incorporated feedback from staff and the community and that utilities and street infrastructure were planned. He told the commission the anticipated rental range would be about $1,200 to $2,200 per month depending on unit size. Engineers said they were working through minor comments and expected outstanding items to be resolved.
Commissioners praised the applicant’s community engagement, and a motion to approve the final PUD passed on a 7–0 roll call. Staff said any remaining engineering comments would be handled as part of final administrative approvals and that the petitioner would supply required management or covenant documents for the PUD.
