"We're seeking to build 24 townhomes and 1 single family home," Franklin said during his presentation.
Commission discussion covered pricing and the design of a mother‑in‑law suite; the petitioner said comparable four‑bedroom units in the area sell near the $425,000 range. Commissioners confirmed coordination with the ward councilman and that town legal staff had no concerns. Brian Dearing moved to approve the final PUD; the motion was seconded and passed on a 7–0 roll‑call.
Staff said the project will return to council as required by the PUD process and that the petitioner would finalize any required covenants or a management agreement prior to final recording.
