Rosebud County commissioners pass routine resolutions and appoint county board members

Resolutions approved included 2026-01 (setting regular meeting days and specifying the board office at the Rosebud County Courthouse), a resolution designating the courthouse bulletin board near the south entrance of the second floor as the official posting location for public notices (staff noted the county also posts notices online and on Facebook), Resolution 2026-03 appointing Scott Hine as presiding officer for 2026, Resolution 2026-04 establishing county office hours, and Resolution 2026-05 setting per-diem and mileage policy.
The per-diem policy sets meal reimbursement limits as follows: breakfast $16, lunch $19, dinner $20, with a daily per-diem maximum of $63; the resolution requires meal receipts for reimbursement and states the county will use the standard federal mileage rate for travel.
