Supervisor Durby moved to approve the minutes of the March 3 meeting and the March 10 agenda; Supervisor Smith seconded the motion and all voted aye. Later in the meeting, Durby moved — and Smith seconded — to rescind a prior motion and to set a public hearing on the Proposed Tax Notice for March 24, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.; that motion also passed unanimously.
The board approved an auditor transfer of $34,070.25 from the Rural Basic fund to the Secondary Roads fund after a motion by Supervisor Smith and a second by Supervisor Durby; the vote was unanimous. The supervisors also approved payroll claims following a motion by Durby and a second by Smith, with all members voting aye.
County claims covering utilities, supplies, services, fuel and parts were presented and ordered paid; the minutes list individual vendors and amounts, including $21,670.00 to Idemia Identity & Security USA LLC and $28,288.00 to Ulland Brothers Construction. The auditor also recorded multiple manure management plans for sites in Winnebago County.
The board adjourned the session until 9:00 a.m. on March 17, 2026.
