Stillwater County commissioners approve routine minutes, consent items, lease assignment and cancel Sept. 22 meeting

The Stillwater County Board of County Commissioners on Sept. 18 approved a set of routine items and formal actions, each by a recorded 3-0 vote.
The board approved the minutes from the Sept. 8 and Sept. 11, 2025 meetings following a motion by Commissioner Jeff Ruffatto and second by Commissioner Roger Webb. The consent agenda was approved and included Road and Bridge business (notably Application No. 202534, a Bike Fest event in Rapelje scheduled Sept. 12–14, 2025) and an Absarokee Sewer item: a Scope of Services from Stahly Engineering for an Economic Development Administration (EDA) grant application in the amount of $3,500. A sheriff monthly report (amount $350) was filed with the board.
Commissioner Ruffatto moved and Commissioner Webb seconded Resolution No. 2025-23 to cancel the Monday, Sept. 22, 2025 agenda meeting; the resolution passed 3-0. The board also approved an assignment of lease from Haugse to Garoutte after a motion by Commissioner Webb and second by Commissioner Ruffatto.
The minutes list staff present (Administrator Kisha Cornell; Facilities staff Chad Coles; Road Superintendent Ben McVittie; Solid Waste Pam Cunningham) and a member of the public, John Dunlap. The meeting adjourned at 9:17 a.m.
