Stillwater County advances civic-center pole barn RFP, approves airport loan increase and routine claims

Facilities manager Chad Coles described the pole-barn plan as a simple, dry-storage structure to keep equipment out of the weather. The RFP will include an alternate bid option for a concrete slab. The board approved moving forward with the RFP by a 3-0 vote.
On Oct. 23 the board approved Claims No. 113199—13268 totaling $128,639.41 and filed sheriff reports for September and the quarterly total of $1,700.00. The board also approved increasing the INTERCAP loan application up to $75,000 to fund a t-hangar heating project at Woltermann Memorial Airport; Commissioner Ruffatto moved and Commissioner Webb seconded, vote 3-0.
These items were routine approvals recorded in the minutes; no further study or public hearings were scheduled in the meeting record for these particular approvals.
