The Waupaca County Board of Adjustment elected its chair, vice chair and secretary and viewed three staff training videos during a one-hour meeting April 21, 2025.
Chair A. Richardson called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. and roll call showed seven members present: A. Richardson, G. Marx, P. Leder, M. Strebe, B. Abba, E. Abrahamson and D. Stevenson. The board approved the meeting agenda and the minutes of Jan. 30, 2025, by motion; both motions were carried.
During the election of officers, P. Leder moved and B. Abba seconded to nominate A. Richardson for chair. Nominations were closed and the motion carried by a recorded vote of 7 yes, 0 no. P. Leder moved and B. Abba seconded to nominate G. Marx for vice chair; nominations were closed and the board voted 7 yes, 0 no. M. Strebe moved and B. Abba seconded to nominate P. Leder for secretary; the motion carried 7 yes, 0 no. B. Abba and M. Strebe stated they wished to continue serving as alternates.
Candace Bauer, Land Use/Code Enforcement Specialist, presented three training videos to the board; no formal action on the presentations was recorded. The meeting was adjourned at 10:00 a.m. following a motion by B. Abba seconded by P. Leder and a 7-0 vote. Minutes were submitted by Becky Landre, Clerk.
