Waupaca County board approves easements with City of Waupaca and We Energies, zoning changes, contracts and donations

The Waupaca County Board of Supervisors unanimously approved several property easements, zoning amendments, contract awards and donations during its Dec. 16 meeting, taking all votes by recorded motion (22-0) and with no recorded debate.
Easements for sanitary sewer: The board adopted two similar resolutions (Nos. 29 and 30) granting perpetual, non-exclusive sanitary sewer easements to the City of Waupaca across courthouse property and other described parcels. Both easements authorize excavation and maintenance of sanitary sewer facilities, require the Grantee to evaluate trenchless technologies where feasible to limit disruption to courthouse operations, require surface restoration and indemnify the Grantor for Grantee negligence. Supervisor Pete Bosquez moved for Resolution No. 29 (seconded by Supervisor Ricky Ertl); Supervisor Eisentraut moved for Resolution No. 30 (seconded by Supervisor Bosquez). Both motions carried 22-0.
