Clovis Unified recognizes student artists, welcomes orchestra performance and introduces new administrators

The Clovis Unified Governing Board on March 19, 2025, recognized student achievement and music programming and introduced several newly appointed administrators.
Avery Gregory of Clovis East High School was announced as the 2025–26 Budget Book Cover Contest winner; runners-up included Autumn Reid (Woods Elementary), Emmy Lovik (Oraze Elementary), Kezra Perez (Fancher Creek Elementary) and Sahana Vidyam (Granite Ridge Intermediate). The Clovis High School Chamber Orchestra performed two selections under the direction of Esmeralda Rocha Lozano in honor of National Music in Our Schools Month.
The Board also introduced newly appointed administrators who will assume leadership roles across the district: Aaron Cook, Director, Program Evaluation; Brent Dettman, Principal, Gateway High School; Jeremy Pierro and Jonathan Slater, Deputy Principals at Terry P. Bradley Educational Center; Simi Gill, Principal, Dry Creek Elementary School; Katie Aiello, Principal, Fugman Elementary School; Methinee Bozeman, Principal, Garfield Elementary School; and Anisha Mayberry, Principal, Lincoln Elementary School.
These recognitions and introductions were presented during the public session following the Board’s reconvening from closed session. The board adjourned at 8:02 p.m.
