Fulton County approves new dispatch clocks, regional 911 support contract and two‑year Hazmat agreement

Fulton County's Board of Commissioners approved several emergency‑services purchases and contracts during its Dec. 23 meeting.
Brian Barton, EMA/911 Director, told the board that the dispatch clocks in use are more than 20 years old and "in dire need of replacement," and noted that the county has implemented a “Pre Alert” system with notifications sent to local fire departments. Following his update, Commissioner Randy H. Bunch moved to approve a ComPros quote for two dispatch clocks including hardware and installation for $4,940.00; the motion passed with all in favor.
The board also approved the 2026 Mission Critical Partners Regional Support Contract for Professional Services; minutes state the contract is fully grant funded. In a separate action, commissioners approved a McCUTCHEON Enterprises, Inc. Hazmat Team two‑year agreement with payment amounts of $2,500.00 for FY2026 and $7,500.00 for FY2027.
All emergency‑services purchases and contracts on the agenda were approved unanimously. No public comment or dissent was recorded in the meeting minutes. The meeting adjourned at 11:21 a.m.
