City Manager Holly Phelps told commissioners the contract documents before them reflect a scoring process in which several firms applied and Mosaic scored highest. “So in front of you, you have the draft contract,” Phelps said while explaining the procurement and selection steps.
Commissioner Robertson moved to enter the contract and Commissioner Bueller seconded. The commission then took a roll-call vote and recorded unanimous approval.
The contract will fund the preliminary architectural work and a facilities master plan needed for the library CDBG application and subsequent planning steps. Staff said the selection followed the project’s scoring process; no additional project dollar amounts were specified in the meeting packet.
Next steps: the city manager will sign the contract and staff will return to the commission with project updates and any required budget or grant documentation.
