Richmond district opens bids for emergency construction services; four vendors submitted

During its March 24 meeting the Richmond Sanitary District opened bids for construction services to be used for emergency work.
Clerk read that four vendors submitted responsive proposals: East Central Contractors LLC (Linn, IN); Big Tex (Union City, IN); Cobalt Civil LLC (Winchester, IN); and Cooley Contracting Inc. (Winchester, IN). Bids included pricing schedules for various emergency work tasks; all submissions included certificates of liability insurance and most included additional required affidavits.
Board members thanked bidders and directed staff to forward the materials to management for review and recommendation at a future meeting. No contract award was made at the March 24 session.
