Alison Cservenschi, Director of the Bedford Council on Aging, said the session will feature MBTA Senior Customer Liaison A.J. Montanero and will cover paratransit eligibility, booking procedures, and the MBTA’s RideFlex on‑demand options that include services like Lyft. The COA plans to distribute a flyer to approximately 2,000 residents via its newsletter and coordinate outreach with the special education department to help families transitioning to adult services.
The Commission finalized the flyer at the meeting and encouraged broad outreach to ensure residents who rely on paratransit and their families are aware of the program and any new booking options.
