BOMA voted to approve a professional-services agreement with Barge Design Solutions to design a subsurface disposal (drip) field at the Ozad property (1546 West Harpeth Road).
Staff said the project, which is included in the town's fiscal-year budget, will expand the wastewater disposal capacity so the treatment plant can increase operations to full capacity. "This project ... will expand the town's wastewater drip field capacity by installing a new subsurface disposal system at the Ozad property," staff said.
A board member moved to approve the contract; the motion was seconded and the roll-call vote recorded five ayes and no nays. Staff said the project has three components: design of the drip field, improvements to the lift station, and updates to the town's wastewater hydraulic model.
The board thanked staff and the presenters and approved the contract to proceed to design work. Additional project details and schedules were not specified in the meeting record.
