The Carroll County Public Service Authority unanimously approved its consent agenda on March 9, authorizing approval of minutes, authority approval items and claims. The chair called for a combined vote and the board approved the package without objection.
During new business the board nominated and unanimously approved Martin Slate and Tracy Moore to a budget committee charged with beginning budget projection work and reviewing projected costs. Chair and committee members discussed the urgency of forming the committee to begin budgeting work for the coming fiscal cycle.
Staff provided brief operational updates: progress on fire hydrant inspections (six completed last week), a Pine Grove line extension in early stages, and an asset‑management vendor scheduled for an on‑site meeting March 16. Board members used member time to thank staff and express support for the Exit 1 project.
The meeting ended after a unanimous motion to adjourn.
