Planning staff used the Feb. 24 meeting to welcome members, noted an extra meeting in February due to weather, and announced that the mayor has appointed Charles Stark to fill a vacant planning-commission seat.
Staff said a commissioner orientation will occur this month; the appointment will go before the Board of Mayor and Aldermen (BOMA) for notification at its March 10 meeting, and the appointee will be seated for the March 24 planning commission meeting, restoring a full board after the vacancy left when "Lewis" left the board.
The announcement was informational; no formal action was required during the meeting.
