"This bill simply clarifies that the seat belt requirement for those 12 and younger does not apply to a golf cart while being operated on a golf course," the sponsor said.
The committee moved, seconded and reported the bill favorably by roll/voice. The clerk announced the result as "By a vote of 17, aye. With 1 absent, the bill is reported favorably."
