The Clovis Unified Governing Board adopted Resolution No. 4055 on June 11 approving the district's School Facilities Needs Analysis and maintaining a Level II Alternative School Facilities (Developer) Fee of $5.86 per square foot, effective July 1, 2025. The board also adopted a California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Notice of Exemption related to the action.
No members of the public spoke at the public hearing on the School Facilities Needs Analysis. The motion to adopt the resolution was moved by Board Member Tom Hashimoto and seconded by Board Member Clinton Olivier and passed unanimously 7-0.
The resolution preserves the existing Level II fee rate as identified in the district's analysis; the action authorizes staff to apply the fee to applicable development permits beginning July 1, 2025. The board's vote closes the public-hearing step required under state law and directs district staff to implement the fee schedule as adopted.
