At its April 28 meeting, the Depot Park Advisory Committee recorded completion of initial spring cleanup and mulching at Depot Park and scheduled the annual grounds inspection for May 6.
The committee's financial report showed that as of March 18 the Depot Park Revolving Fund had a balance of $103,894; after pending snow-removal charges of $6,810 the available balance was reported as $97,084.
Committee members agreed the depot painting project should be put out to bid. The minutes record that facilities plans to purchase and install blinds for the three windows on the west side of the Freight House.
The committee scheduled a follow-up meeting for 10:30 a.m. on May 19 in the railcar to focus on planning the proposed Depot Park addition. The meeting adjourned at 11:37 a.m.; Chair Joseph Piantedosi and members Steven Hagan and William Deen voted in favor and none opposed.
