Milan — The Milan City Council unanimously approved two administrative items Feb. 3: an employment agreement appointing Karis Dyc as City Assistant Treasurer, and a Memorandum of Understanding with the TPOAM Supervisors’ Union.
Councilmember Kerkes moved to approve the employment agreement for Karis Dyc; Councilmember Nie seconded the motion, which the council adopted unanimously. The MOU was approved on a motion by Councilmember Nie, seconded by Councilmember Stafford, and likewise carried unanimously.
Both votes were routine and recorded in the minutes as carried without opposition. No changes to budget authority or funding sources for the assistant treasurer position were specified in the meeting record. The approvals complete the council’s formal action on those personnel and labor items; implementation steps were not detailed in the minutes.
