Consultant presents pavement condition survey to Raeford council

Steve Launder of WithersRavenel presented the results of a pavement condition survey the firm conducted in summer 2022 and described the methodology used to develop its analysis. Launder said the report can serve as a guide for planning upcoming paving projects and offered additional engineering services if the city decides to implement components of the plan.
Mayor John K. McNeill and council members thanked the presenter for the work. No formal action was taken on the pavement study during the Feb. 6 meeting.
