A school representative told the Town of Brownsburg Redevelopment Commission on Feb. 3 that school facilities are reopening from winter closures and that a series of community engagement meetings starts the next evening.
“That we are moving right along and excited that facilities continue to open up,” the speaker said, adding that the schools are “excited also, community engagement meetings will begin for us tomorrow evening.” The official said about “182, 184 folks signed up to attend that, series of 5 sessions,” indicating the attendance figure was approximate.
The speaker said the sessions will focus in part on financial challenges the district faces as a result of recent legislation and thanked the community for its engagement. No formal action was taken by the commission on the schools update during the meeting.
