Pottawattamie County creates Budget & Finance Director position; approves consent agenda with new hires, liquor license renewal

The board was introduced to several newly hired staff: detention officers Jaxon Boro, Taylor Sieleman, Shane Wacker, Joshua Oakley, Payton Sales and Steven Larson, and Rebecca Gilmore, registered nurse for the jail. Rebekah Adair, identified in the minutes as Education Coordinator for The Wall That Heals and Pottawattamie County Administrative Assistant, Veterans Service, presented on educational tour opportunities tied to The Wall That Heals’s visit over Memorial Day weekend; the presentation was for discussion only and prompted no formal action.
