The Fulton County Board of Commissioners on Feb. 17 approved a lease for McConnell Park to host the Fulton County Chamber of Commerce and Tourism’s Strawberry Festival June 11–13, 2026, and authorized engineering services for a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) senior center project.
Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to approve and execute a McConnell Park lease submitted by the Fulton County Chamber of Commerce and Tourism for the Strawberry Festival; the motion passed unanimously. The lease was recorded in the minutes without additional conditions.
The board also approved a contract with CES Engineering, LLC for engineering services at the Warfordsburg Senior Center CDBG Project, not to exceed $15,000. Commissioner Hann moved the measure and the board approved it. The minutes record that Chief Clerk Stacey M. Shives was retroactively authorized to sign a CDBG Exempt Status Determination and Mitigation Measures and Conditions Form.
