In personnel and contract actions the council adopted a resolution to award duty weapons and a badge to Police Chief Robert Howard as retirement benefits and approved new job listings to add positions such as an industrial maintenance electrician (senior). Council members approved a professional services agreement to provide a special‑needs aid tech excellence program and moved to postpone and re‑advertise a comprehensive plan contractor to the next meeting.
