Deptford board approves 2025–26 goals, gives first reading to facilities-use policy

Dr. Frank Scambia moved the policy and board-goals motion and Mr. Ed Kalinowski seconded it; the board adopted both on a roll-call vote of 9-0. Several members asked procedural questions about publication and posting of board materials during the public portion; resident Stacy Gray asked whether the finalized Board Goals would be posted to the district website following the meeting.
The first reading of Policy #7510 begins the formal review process required by board procedures; subsequent meetings will include any recommended revisions prior to final adoption. The board also directed staff to post the Board Goals to the district website following the meeting.
The board's unanimous vote advances the policy review and formalizes goals the district will use to guide priorities in the coming school year.
