Minutes show Marsha Cole (217 Locust Grove) commended the school's principal for clearing the blacktop during recent weather, which she said helped prevent injuries, and urged the district to continue promoting the bowling program and recruit additional participants. Those comments were made during the open public portion and are recorded in the minutes.
Later in the meeting, the board voted to enter closed session at 7:21 p.m. to discuss district personnel matters under N.J.S.A. 10:4-12; Stacy Gray moved the closed-session resolution and Dan McCurdy seconded it. The board returned to public session at 8:01 p.m. and adjourned the meeting the same night; all motions to enter and exit closed session and to adjourn were carried unanimously.
