Portage council hears nonprofit and conservation-district event announcements

Healy said the group provides financial assistance and equipment to swimmers in need.
Chandra Kenny, district manager at the Kalamazoo Conservation District and a Portage resident, said the district revised its mission to focus on protecting and restoring Kalamazoo County’s natural resources and invited the public to an annual meeting and board election on March 5 at AZO Venue Lounge and Grill from 5:00 to 8:30 p.m.
