The Waupaca County Board of Adjustment voted 5–0 May 13 to approve a petition by Amandeep Singh and Sarabjit Kaur to remove an outlot designation that prevented building on a 0.82-acre parcel in the Town of Farmington (Parcel 05-24-72-1).
Kris Shambeau testified the owners bought the lot years earlier intending to build; they later discovered the outlot designation made the parcel substandard and unbuildable without the designation change. Planning and Zoning Specialist C. Bauer recommended approval, saying the minimum-lot-size requirement changed after the lot was created and that removing the outlot designation would allow reasonable use.
Board members agreed the sale appeared to have been made in good faith, the township raised no objections when contacted, and a certified survey would be required to change the deed or lot description. J. Fulcher moved to approve; A. Richardson seconded. The roll call vote was P. Craig—yes; D. Johnson—yes; J. Fulcher—yes; A. Richardson—yes; and P. Leder—yes.
The hearing closed at 12:20 p.m. The board then discussed future meeting dates and adjourned at 12:26 p.m.
