Waupaca County Board of Supervisors Chair Dick Koeppen called the Feb. 20 meeting to order, and the board moved quickly through a slate of land-use ordinances, financial adjustments and appointments, all approved by unanimous votes.
The most significant fiscal action was adoption of Resolution No. 36, which transfers $274,156 of property tax levy from the county’s General Fund to the Human Services Fund. The board adopted the transfer after the Finance Committee recommended shifting selected fiscal staff funding to Human Services; Supervisor Murphy moved the resolution and Supervisor Wengelski seconded. The motion passed 22-0.
