Board confirms library and committee appointments, announces WCA conference

The Waupaca County Board of Supervisors approved several appointments May 21 and announced upcoming events.
Supervisor Cindy Hardy moved and Supervisor Fred Zaug seconded the appointment of Sue Golding as a citizen member of the Solid Waste Board for the remainder of a term ending April 2025; the motion carried 20-0. The board approved the LEPC membership list as submitted. Jenny Hangartner was appointed to the Marion Public Library Board for a three-year term; Martha Bailey was reappointed to the Neuschafer Community Library Board for three years; and Jaleen Hackander was reappointed to the Neuschafer Community Library Board for two years. The OWLS Board of Trustees members were appointed to the Waupaca County Library Service Planning Committee. The Land and Water Committee was asked to place additional appointments on the June agenda.
County Clerk Kristy K. Opperman announced the Waupaca County Association Annual Conference in La Crosse, Sept. 22–24, 2024, with registration opening June 3. Supervisor Jaeger moved to adjourn and Chair David Morack declared the meeting adjourned at 10:01 a.m.
