Neighbors who spoke during a lengthy public hearing told commissioners they support growth but pressed city staff and the developer on public-safety and environmental concerns. "There are constantly trees that are falling down from this property into the city streets," said Travis Rosinger, a neighbor adjacent to the site, describing a large limb that struck his roof. Rosinger also asked whether the city could compel maintenance and whether the developer had been financially vetted given an earlier approval that was not completed in 2019.
