Resident urges city to address obstructing electrical box on 99th Avenue

During the open forum, resident Bruce Manti (4101 United Avenue) told the council an electrical box on 99th Avenue in Lexington is obstructing sight lines and poses a safety hazard.
Manti said he has pursued the matter for months and that Anoka County and state rules also recognize the problem. He told council staff that a prior staff response failed to adequately investigate and he plans to involve outside agencies referenced in the discussion. "It is a safety hazard," he said, and asked the city to revisit the matter.
Mayor Sanders thanked him and said city staff would follow up if the item required further action.
