Director Schlueter said seven bids were received Feb. 5 ranging from $236,000 to $404,000 and that the engineer’s estimate was approximately $245,000. SealPro’s submitted the low bid at $237,000; Schlueter said staff performed reference checks and recommended awarding the contract to SealPro’s. Council also authorized a 5% contingency, which would bring the project budget to about $249,000, within the city’s 2026 appropriation of $250,000.
Council approved the resolution by voice vote, authorizing the city manager and mayor to execute the contract and directing the city clerk to return bids once the contract is signed.
