Reese "Skip" Broussard will resign his Member-at-Large seat on the Jefferson Davis Parish Economic Development Commission after winning election as the District 37 state representative, Chairman Kendal Henry announced at the Feb. 11 meeting.
The commission directed members to submit nominations and bios to facilitator Linda LeBlanc by March 1. The list of nominees and biographies will be emailed to board members for review, and the commission will vote on a replacement at its March 11, 2026 meeting. The replacement will serve the remainder of the Member-at-Large term through Dec. 31, 2027.
