Jeff Davis Economic Development Commission approves grant agreement and grants online banking access

The Jeff Davis Economic Development Commission unanimously approved two administrative resolutions and then adjourned at a special meeting June 17 at its Jennings office.
Chairman Kendal Henry called the meeting to order and staff recorded the attendance of commission members and supporting personnel. Ronnie Petree led the opening prayer and Will Hetzel led the Pledge of Allegiance.
The commission approved a resolution authorizing the Jeff Davis Economic Development director to sign a Louisiana Development Ready Community Grant Award Agreement between Jefferson Davis Economic Development and the State of Louisiana Department of Economic Development. The resolution was offered by Ronnie Petree and seconded by Skip Broussard and passed unanimously.
The commission also approved a resolution to authorize Monica Trahan of the accounting firm Greg N. Marcantel CPA to conduct full online banking on behalf of the commission with First Guaranty Bank. That motion was offered by Will Hetzel, seconded by Skip Broussard, and passed unanimously.
After completing the two votes the commission voted to adjourn; the motion to adjourn was made by Skip Broussard, seconded by Ed Orgeron, and approved without opposition.
